Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject focuses on the analysis of the most important tourist destinations, their attractions, culture, history and factors influencing their popularity. Students will become familiar with the characteristics of tourist regions on different continents, taking into account both natural and cultural aspects. The subject develops the ability to analyze and compare tourist regions and understand how different factors affect the development of tourism in different parts of the world. The subject combines elements of geography, cultural studies, history and tourism management. During the classes, students will analyze specific examples of tourist regions, both well-known and less popular, to understand how cultural and natural diversity affects tourist attractiveness. The main objective of the subject Tourist Regions of the World is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and analyze the diversity of tourist regions in the world. Students will also become familiar with the characteristics of the most important tourist regions in the world, including their attractions, culture, history and natural environment. In addition, students will develop the skills to analyze and compare tourist regions in terms of their attractiveness and specificity.
