Purpose and description of the content of education:
Cultural Tourism is a subject that focuses on the analysis of various forms of cultural tourism, such as visiting monuments, participating in festivals, visiting museums, learning about the traditions and customs of local communities, and participating in religious events. Students will become familiar with the principles of sustainable use of cultural heritage, protection of monuments, and the impact of tourism on culture and society. The subject develops skills in planning and organizing cultural tourism, taking into account the principles of protecting cultural heritage and social responsibility. The subject combines elements of cultural studies, history, sociology, and tourism management. During classes, students will analyze specific examples of cultural tourism, participate in discussions, and prepare projects related to the development of cultural tourism in various regions. The main objective of the Cultural Tourism subject is to familiarize students with the concepts and principles of cultural tourism and its various forms, develop skills in analyzing the impact of tourism on culture and society, and identify factors influencing the development of cultural tourism, and prepare students to plan and organize cultural tourism taking into account the principles of sustainable development.
