Purpose and description of the content of education:
Tourism infrastructure is a subject that introduces students to issues related to planning, designing and managing infrastructure necessary for the development of tourism. The subject focuses on the analysis of various elements of tourism infrastructure, such as accommodation, catering, transport, recreation and information. Students become familiar with the principles of designing and managing tourism infrastructure, taking into account the needs of tourists, environmental protection requirements and the principles of sustainable development. The subject develops skills in planning and managing tourism infrastructure, which is necessary for the effective functioning of the tourism industry. The main objective of the Tourism Infrastructure subject is to familiarize students with the elements of tourism infrastructure and their importance for the development of tourism, to develop skills in planning and designing tourism infrastructure taking into account the needs of tourists and the principles of sustainable development, and to prepare students to manage tourism infrastructure and identify factors influencing its effectiveness.
