Purpose and description of the content of education: | Nature tourism in legally protected areas focuses on the analysis of opportunities and challenges related to the development of nature tourism in areas under legal protection, such as national parks, nature reserves, Natura 2000 areas or geoparks. During the course, students will become familiar with the principles of functioning of protected areas, legal regulations regarding nature tourism and methods of sustainable management of tourist traffic. The subject will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and organize nature tourism in protected areas, while respecting the principles of nature conservation and sustainable development. The main objective of the subject is to familiarize students with the principles of functioning of protected areas and legal regulations regarding nature tourism, to develop skills in planning and organizing nature tourism in protected areas, taking into account the principles of nature conservation and sustainable development, and to prepare students to identify and solve problems related to tourist traffic in protected areas. |
