Purpose and description of the content of education:
Tourist Attractions of Poland is a subject that focuses on the analysis of a variety of objects and places that attract tourists from both home and abroad, such as cultural monuments, natural wonders, national parks, historic cities, pilgrimage sites and modern tourist attractions. Students will learn about the characteristics of these places, their history, cultural and natural significance, as well as the factors that influence their popularity among tourists. The course combines elements of geography, history, cultural studies and tourism management. During the course of the course, students will analyze specific examples of tourist attractions in Poland in order to understand how cultural and natural diversity affects the tourist attractiveness of the country. The main objective of the subject Tourist Attractions of Poland is to familiarize students with the characteristics of the most important tourist attractions in Poland, including their history, cultural and natural significance, to develop the ability to analyze and compare tourist attractions in terms of their attractiveness and specificity, and to prepare students to identify factors that influence the popularity of tourist attractions among tourists.
