Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module is intended to enable students to deepen their knowledge of various cognitive positions related to the contemporary anthropological understanding of socio-cultural reality and the processes occurring in it. Students will learn about model explanations and critical interpretations of the meaning of culture, as well as current ways of understanding anthropological knowledge. The classes allow for presenting and characterizing the currently existing controversies and diverse views on the theory and practice of anthropological research and the cognitive potential of contemporary ethnology and cultural anthropology. The issues addressed in the module are intended to show the important role of critical theories in creating a research workshop, useful, among others, in constructing a diploma thesis and in other fields of research and professional activity.
