Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module diagnoses the most important contemporary challenges related to cultural heritage - its material and non-material manifestations and relations with the natural environment. The analysis will cover issues such as: mapping, interpreting or negotiating heritage at the level of local and regional communities, as well as state policies, in a global perspective. Theoretical knowledge will be interpreted based on selected examples of cultural heritage used in political and identity discourse and in the context of educational and commercial activities or initiatives in the field of cultural animation.
