Purpose and description of the content of education:
The classes in the module "Applied Anthropology 1" are intended to prepare students to work in interdisciplinary teams aimed at using anthropological knowledge, methods and techniques in solving real social or market problems and challenges (e.g. in product and service design, in the development of organizations and building communities, social justice, ecology, mass media, marketing). The classes are intended to indicate the role of the ethnologist / anthropologist in implementing non-academic initiatives by introducing anthropological concepts and perspectives in specific projects. The concept of the classes assumes cooperation with external institutions in the planning and implementation of specific activities resulting from social or market needs.
