Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł obejmuje kompleksowe omówienie procesu tworzenia publikacji, zarówno tradycyjnych jak i cyfrowych. Studenci poznają całą drogę książki: od podstaw tekstologii i przygotowania tekstu do druku (zasady wyboru podstawy wydania, krytyka tekstu, budowa aparatu krytycznego, ustalanie autorstwa, techniki kolacjonowania oraz określanie granic koniektur i emendacji), przez kolejne etapy pracy edytorskiej, aż po strategie promocji książki w mediach.

Student dysponuje wiedzą na temat miejsca tekstologii w edytorstwie naukowym i w naukach humanistycznych, zna i rozumie zależności między nimi oraz ma wiedzę o zasadach, podstawowej terminologii i metodach badawczych, stosowanych w tekstologii. [PPK02_1]

Student zna i rozumie współczesne strategie i narzędzia promocji książek w mediach tradycyjnych i cyfrowych, identyfikuje kluczowe instytucje produkcji i rozpowszechniania książki (wydawnictwa, drukarnie, księgarnie, biblioteki, platformy internetowe) oraz rozróżnia różnorodne kanały i modele dystrybucji książki funkcjonujące w Polsce i na świecie. Potrafi samodzielnie rozpoznawać problemy badawcze w zakresie tekstologii oraz odpowiednio stosować aparat naukowy, właściwy tekstologii, a także określić granice stosowania koniektur i emendacji, zna technikę kolacjonowania oraz sposób przygotowania i wykorzystania warsztatu pracy tekstologa w procesie wyboru podstawy druku.
