Purpose and description of the content of education:
W ramach modułu studenci poznają podstawową terminologię z zakresu etyki, deontologii i etosu pracy. Student powinien mieć wiedzę na temat współczesnych kodeksów etyki zawodowej pracowników bibliotek i informacji. Dzięki analizie źródeł student wie jakie znaczenie w pracy ma znajomość zasad etyki na wszystkich etapach procesu informacyjnego. Będzie rozumiał znaczenie ciągłego podnoszenia własnych kwalifikacji i umiejętności dla etycznego zachowania.

Student zna terminologię z zakresu etyki i pracy zawodowej na stanowisku bibliotekarza, specjalisty informacji. Ma szczegółową wiedzę o normach etycznych regulujących funkcjonowanie instytucji kultury i o procesach komunikacji w nich zachodzących. Zna problemy etyki w nauce i w środowisku akademickim. Zna ewolucje poglądów etycznych na przestrzeni dziejów. [ET01_01]
