Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module is an introduction to key conceptual and problematic issues in the field of ethnology and cultural anthropology. On the basis of theoretical knowledge about man, culture, tradition and the mechanisms of their creation, or the processes of cultural change, the student acquires the competence to deepen detailed knowledge regarding both the essence of culture and the complex processes of its functioning and shaping. The curriculum assumes the acquisition of the ability to perceive and analyze cultural diversity and differences, especially in the contemporary, multicultural reality. The subject matter of the classes introduces the student to the cognitive area of the studied field, developed in the course of further studies. |
