Purpose and description of the content of education:
The purpose of the module is to introduce the student to the history of philosophical reflection, its continuity and the evolution of its issues. The student should gain the ability to interpret and critically analyse the texts, coherently formulate the issues contained in them and substantively argue for or against them. The influence of philosophical reflection on culture, especially on science, will be exposed in the class. The role of ontological, epistemological, anthropological and axiological concepts in the formation of worldviews past and present will be emphasized.
