Purpose and description of the content of education:
This module provides students with knowledge in Library Collection Management concerning the principles, forms, and record-keeping of collections being gathered, supplemented, and subject to selection. The realization of the module is intended to impart knowledge, skills, and competencies in implementing the collection policy of a given library appropriate for the type of facility (scientific, school and pedagogical, public) based on audits of user preferences and based on the principle of cooperation with other library facilities and cultural institutions.
