Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of summer internships for students is to gain experience in teamwork, become familiar with the requirements of future employers, and facilitate the choice of workplace after graduation.
Specifically, students should have the opportunity to:
• become familiar with the organizational structure of a library as an institution with defined social functions,
• deepen the knowledge acquired in lectures and exercises on the policy and principles of collecting collections,
• learn about the organization of collection access,
• familiarize themselves with the practice of formal collection processing,
• develop skills in using various bibliographic and information aids needed in collecting and providing access to collections. |
