Purpose and description of the content of education:
The objective of the module is to introduce students to basic knowledge in the field of Information Science. During the lectures, students familiarize themselves with the genesis of the discipline, its terminology, methodology, the place of the information science in the system of sciences, its connections with other sciences and practical activity areas, and learn about contemporary research directions in information science (discussed more extensively in master's studies).
