Purpose and description of the content of education:
In this module, the student will gain knowledge related to bibliology and related sciences. The completion of the module will ensure that the student acquires knowledge about the broadly understood book science and its institutions. While expanding their knowledge, the student will deepen their terminological resource in the areas discussed. They will be able to critically assess the literature on the subject.

Student zna terminologię stosowaną w bibliologii, a także naukach pomocniczych. Zapoznaje się więc także z podstawami metodologii nauk humanistycznych i wykorzystywanymi przez nie specjalistycznymi technikami badawczymi. Ponadto, student dysponuje wiedzą o lokalizacji bibliologii w systemie nauk humanistycznych i jej relacjach z innymi dyscyplinami naukowymi [PB01​_1]

student ma wiedzę o piśmiennictwie odnoszącym się do bibliologii. W ramach zajęć styka się z najistotniejszymi pracami z dziedziny (zarówno publikacjami zwartymi, jak i czasopismami). Student ma ponadto rozbudowaną wiedzę o organizacjach zajmujących się szeroko pojętą problematyką bibliologii i działaniami z nią związanymi [PB01​_2]

Umiejętność ta jest jednym z podstawowych narzędzi wykorzystywanych przez studentów do dalszego, samodzielnego i profesjonalnego rozwijania swojej wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji społecznych [PB01​_3]
