Purpose and description of the content of education:
This module aims to expand knowledge on the complexity of the functioning of digital collections in cultural institutions. Students will learn about contemporary types of institutions that deal with documentation, their tasks, the way they operate, and the techniques and tools used in creating digital collections for cultural institutions globally. Completing the module will enrich the student with a set of necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies useful in working in archives and repositories serving the needs of culture and science.

Ponadto poznaje zasady organizacji i udostępniania treści w poszczególnych typach cyfrowych zbiorów przygotowanych dla instytucji kultury, jako ważnym elemencie funkcjonowania człowieka w społeczeństwie informacyjnym [OPKC05​_1]

W oparciu o posiadany zasób wiedzy, który daje zaplecze do profesjonalnego oceniania, student nabywa umiejętność charakterystyki poszczególnych źródeł.
