Purpose and description of the content of education:
The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with current legal regulations on the organization and principles of operation of legal anti-corruption mechanisms in Poland, with particular emphasis on legal regulations on local self-government in this regard. The primary purpose of the course is to provide basic knowledge of legal mechanisms of an anti-corruption nature, as well as to familiarize students with legal regulations arising, in particular, from local government statutes, the Law on Local Government Employees and the Law on Restrictions on Conduct of Business by Persons Performing Public Functions. Thanks to the previously attended classes on Polish local government law, the student should acquire the ability to assess for violations of which legal provisions anti-corruption sanctions are possible.
