Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the classes carried out as part of the module is to present and explain to students the EU's activities in the field of broadly understood security, i.e. both in the external sphere (Common Foreign and Security Policy, CFSP) and internal (area of freedom, security and justice, AFSJ). During the module, students will learn primarily about the following topics: - evolution of the structure and legal nature of the EU. The specificity of the EU as an international organization; - the essence and specificity of CFSP and EU AFSJ; - origins and development of the EU's CFSP and AFSJ; - institutions operating within the EU's CFSP and AFSJ and the decision-making process in these areas; - instruments for the implementation of the EU's CFSP and AFSJ; - the practice of functioning of the EU's CFSP and AFSJ in the second and third decades of the 21st century.
