Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to familiarise students with the phenomenon of terrorism as a threat to national and international security. As part of the module, students learn about the origins of terrorism, its evolution, forms and types, manifestations and specificity of the leading terrorist organisations. They determine the importance of terrorism for contemporary security, identify means and methods of counteracting terrorism and assess their effectiveness.
