Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł Geostatystyka składa się z wykładów i ćwiczeń prowadzonych z wykorzystaniem pracowni komputerowej. W trakcie wykładów omawiane są następujące zagadnienia: Podstawowe pojęcia statystyki matematycznej, Rozkłady prawdopodobieństwa zmiennych losowych, miary tendencji centralnej i rozproszenia rozkładów, estymacja punktowa i przedziałowa parametrów rozkładów, zasady testowania hipotez statystycznych, parametryczne testy istotności, nieparametryczne testy zgodności, analiza korelacji i regresji dwóch zmiennych losowych, analiza korelacji wielu zmiennych. W ramach ćwiczeń student uczy się prowadzić analizę statystyczną danych z wykorzystaniem specjalistycznych programów komputerowych. Rozwiązuje zadania związane ze statystyką opisową, uczy się praktycznego wyznaczania przedziałów ufności parametrów rozkładów statystycznych, testowania hipotez o parametrach rozkładów, wykonywania testów zgodności rozkładów, prowadzenia analizy korelacyjnej i wyznaczania współczynników regresji liniowej.
