Purpose and description of the content of education:
The class includes content on key concepts and definitions in enterprise logistics activities, i.e. logistics, logistics system, logistics management, supply chain, logistics chain, and logistics process. The lecture presents the phases of the evolution of logistics and the basic organizational structures created for its purposes. Students learn about the modules of the logistics mix in an enterprise: transportation, warehousing, inventory control, packaging management, order fulfilment, and the formation of decision-making skills in their field as well as the formation of social competencies relevant to the work of a logistics manager.
