Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to acquire the ability to evaluate economic phenomena and processes with particular emphasis on the behaviour of economic entities operating in the market. After completing the module, the student should be able to assess the importance and consequences of microeconomic decisions. It is essential for him to understand the state's role in the market economy properly. Microeconomic knowledge is to be the basis for taking independent entrepreneurial actions. During the module, a strong emphasis will be placed on the evolution of the Polish economic system after 1990, focusing on Poland's accession to the EU.
