Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to familiarise students theoretically, methodologically and practically with the possibilities of interpreting conventional literature as an element of the cultural universe of contemporary times. Students will learn the principles and acquire skills of situating a literary text in its proper contexts (philosophical, ethical, aesthetic). The fundamental aim of the course is to present literature primarily in its modern (historically and ideologically understood) aspect as the art of the word, which responds to the changing forms of organisation of human experience of the world.
