Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarise students with the function and forms in which myth co-organizes the phenomena of contemporary culture. In general terms, it will be most important to describe how myth can shape plot, narrative, characters and world model. The description will also include the social space of culture. The detailed approach will focus on analyses of mythicisation mechanisms in specific works (literary, film and music). |
