Celem modułu jest: 1) Zarysowanie geografii i chronologii głównych cywilizacji bliskowschodnich; 2) Ukazanie najtrwalszych i najbardziej charakterystycznych osiągnięć cywilizacji bliskowschodnich; 3) Wykazanie trwałości dziedzictwa kultur bliskowschodnich w świecie współczesnym.
