Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to familiarise students with the issues of tributary law, taking into account the legal and economic aspects. The catalogue of public income will be discussed, and within it the individual types of public levies. The notions of tax, fee, contribution, and customs duty will be explained, pointing to their specific features and differences. The role of individual public tributes in the structure of public revenues and state budget revenues will be shown. The aim of the course is also to analyse the tax system and individual types of taxes. Within the scope of the course, the student will become acquainted with the basic issues of Polish and European fiscal law, in particular with the basic concepts and institutions used in fiscal law, learn its sources, principles of interpretation and conditions for fulfilment of fiscal obligations towards the State Treasury and local government units.
