Purpose and description of the content of education:
The purpose of the module is to familiarize the student with the basic rules that govern the international community, especially the place in it of states and international organizations. The student should be versed in the rules of the international community. In addition, he should be able to evaluate and verify the information that comes to him from the media regarding events in the international arena. He should be able to access acts of international law and legal acts related to the functioning of international organizations. The subject is tailored to the needs of the student of first degree administration. It gives him a basis for continuing education in European institutions, European law, international protection of human rights. In the course of the lecture, the issues discussed are: 1. the international community (concept, development, historical outline). 2. Sources of international law with particular emphasis on international agreements. 3. subjects of international law. 4. states as subjects of international law 5. organizations international organizations - concept and types 6. International organizations as subjects of international law 7. International responsibility of states and international organizations 8. United Nations organization. 9. specialized organizations of the United Nations 10. role of international non-governmental organizations 11. peaceful settlement of disputes, with particular reference to international judiciary.
