Purpose and description of the content of education:
The main objective of the module is to familiarize students with intercultural communication models (verbal and non-verbal codes) applicable in diplomatic and political work that requires proper communication with representatives of other cultures. The thematic scope of the course includes issues of intercultural communication, determinants of synergistic communication in the intercultural aspect, definitions and typologies of cultures and cultural circles, barriers to intercultural communication and ways to overcome them (culture shock and acculturation strategies).
