Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to acquire the ability to conduct basic geological research in the field as well as to comprehensively learn about the geological evolution and tectonics of the Sudetes, and in particular the Kaczawa Mountains. Showing examples of different rocks; illustration of petrogenesis processes, rock transformations, learning the methodology of petrographic observations; documentation of geological exposures; geological interpretations; getting acquainted with the geological objects typical of the Kaczawa unit.
