Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to provide knowledge about the foundations, methods and techniques of major psychotherapy approaches and to develop skills and competences that constitute the basis of the therapist's workshop. The module discusses the essence of the psychotherapeutic process, including healing factors in psychotherapy, building a therapeutic relationship, stages of psychotherapy, and working with resistance. Module participants learn how to appropriately select forms of psychotherapeutic work to meet the difficulties reported by patients, train therapeutic conversation skills and use appropriate intervention techniques, and develop diagnostic and functional thinking.

The student has knowledge of the meaning and connection between psychotherapy and artistic therapies, knows the connections and relationships between theoretical knowledge, methods of action used in art therapy and psychotherapeutic practice. [AR_PT_01]
