Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarize students with theoretical and practical issues related to the broadly understood pedagogy of cinema and the use of film in therapeutic intervention. In this context, it becomes important to indicate the importance of experience mediated in contact with a cinematographic work as a way of learning about social phenomena and building the well-being of the patient. The educational content has been framed in such a way as to focus on the importance of film reception and redundancy mechanisms facilitating compensation, providing models, or the existence of identity with the protagonists. An additional element is the use of Joseph Campbell's concept (The hero with a thousand faces) showing motifs that have potential to support the viewer's development. |
