Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module allows you to characterize competition law issues covered by the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection, the Act on Combating Unfair Competition, and the Act on Counteracting Unfair Market Practices. The module will discuss, among others, sources of competition law, community competition law, practical aspects related to the application of competition-restricting agreements and abuse of a dominant position by entrepreneurs, and control of concentration of economic entities. Moreover, the subject of the discourse will also be practices violating the collective interests of consumers and proceedings conducted before the President of Competition and Consumer Protection. In addition, the seminar will present pragmatic issues related to, among others, acts of unfair competition and unfair market practices, as well as civil law liability of an entrepreneur who violates the interests of other entrepreneurs.
