Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł "3D modelowanie postaci i otoczenia" zaznajamia studentów z problemem geometrycznej reprezentacji otaczającej nas rzeczywistości. Przedstawia sposób tworzenia modelu znanymi metodami, pochodzącymi głównie z obszaru wiedzy Fotogrametrii oraz Computer Vision. W centrum uwagi jest nie tylko różnorodność metod budowania modelu 3D, ale i metody jego wizualizacji, pokrywania bitmapami, czy triangulacji powierzchni. Szczególny nacisk jest położony na nabycie praktycznych umiejętności w posługiwaniu się wiedzą teoretyczną, co realizujemy dzięki wprowadzeniu projektów, podczas których studenci, korzystając z wolnego oprogramowania, zbudują model poznanymi metodami oraz dokonają jego analizy, a następnie zaprezentują wnioski w formie prezentacji. W module rozwijana jest również umiejętność szybkiego wyszukiwania wiedzy i klasyfikowania jej przydatności.
