Purpose and description of the content of education:
Matematyka B ma za zadanie wprowadzenie szeregu pojęć matematyki wyższej i zapoznanie studentów z metodami matematycznymi w rozwiązywaniu problemów, które mogą napotkać podczas studiowania technologii chemicznej. W trakcie realizacji zajęć student nabywa wiedzę i umiejętności w posługiwaniu się metodami algebry liniowej, rachunku różniczkowego i całkowego funkcji wielu zmiennych, równań różniczkowych oraz możliwości ich stosowania w bieżącej praktyce chemicznej. Po zakończeniu zajęć student jest świadom roli matematyki w formułowaniu hipotez, tworzeniu algorytmów postępowania i rozwiązywaniu problemów, dla których algorytmy jeszcze nie istnieją.
