Purpose and description of the content of education:
Kataliza i procesy katalityczne to moduł którego głównym zadaniem jest zapoznanie Słuchaczy z zagadnieniami dotyczącymi procesów katalitycznych zachodzących w różnych dziedzinach życia codziennego, nauki oraz techniki, w tym ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem procesów katalitycznych realizowanych w przemyśle oraz ochronie środowiska. W wyniku realizacji modułu, Student/ka uzyskuje wiedzę z zakresu najważniejszych procesów katalitycznych, w tym: z obszaru autokatalizy, biokatalizy, katalizy homo- i heterogenicznej realizowanej w skali laboratoryjnej jak i przemysłowej. Ponadto, za sprawą realizacji ćwiczeń praktycznych, Student/ka potrafi zrealizować w laboratorium proste reakcje katalityczne a także zaplanować i otrzymać katalizator do wybranych, relatywnie mało skomplikowanych reakcji katalitycznych.
