Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł ma dać podstawową wiedzę z historii kultur regionów i wspólnot, zwłaszcza europejskich. W polu zainteresowania znajdować się będą wspólnoty kulturowe (świat grecko-rzymski, krąg kultur germańskich itp.), jak i polityczne (wspólnota Unii Europejskiej, unii polsko-litewskiej). Podział na regiony dokonywany będzie za pomocą zróżnicowanych kategorii: politycznych, religijnych, językowych, gospodarczych itp. Zajęcia to poznawanie historii tworzenia się regionu Basenu Morza Śródziemnego, regionu Europy Środkowej, Europy Wschodniej, kręgu germańskiego czy celtyckiego, jak również regionów i wspólnot pozaeuropejskich i zaznajomienie z najważniejszymi faktami historycznymi oraz z historycznymi mitami poszczególnych wspólnot. Kontekstowo będzie ukazywana specyfika historyczna obszarów pozaeuropejskich.
