Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł ma na celu wyjaśnienie, czym jest filozofia i etyka, przedstawienie osobom studiującym najważniejszych koncepcji antropologicznych i etycznych obecnych w myśleniu filozoficznym w kolejnych epokach oraz omówienie wybranych problemów ontologicznych i epistemologicznych, których rozumienie jest niezbędne dla kompetentnego uczestniczenia we współczesnym dyskursie nauk społecznych (np. spór o uniwersalia, problem psychofizyczny, spór o źródła poznania, prawda, absolutyzm i relatywizm, sceptycyzm, wiedza naukowa itp.), a także wyposażenie w umiejętność poszukiwania rozwiązań problemów etycznych w oparciu o konstruktywną argumentację filozoficzną, etyczną. Realizowane treści modułu pozwolą na nabycie przez osoby studiujące wrażliwości niezbędnej do dostrzegania i rozumnego rozstrzygania problemów moralnych pojawiających się we współczesnych kontekstach nauk humanistycznych, społecznych.
