Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the module, students will gain knowledge of the formation and development of traditional and electronic books, as well as their new forms, such as convergent and personalized books, as a result of the publisher's work. They should correctly identify different types of editions and determine the stages of work to be done on their preparation, especially substantive editing, technical preparation, and the principles of printing, distribution, and publishing marketing. Completion of the module is intended to allow the student to learn about trends in the publishing market and the organization and workshops of work in contemporary publishing houses, as well as to help determine the scope of application of publishing standards and legal conditions in individual and teamwork in publishing houses.
