Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to convey knowledge about the historical and contemporary development of literature for children and youth. The student, knowing the genre determinants of texts for children and youth, should be able to analyze and assess them, especially in terms of functionality. As a result, the student should be aware of the historical and literary processes occurring in the field of children's and youth literature. Additionally, considering the needs and reception capabilities of the young reader, the student should demonstrate the ability to select appropriate reading materials. In future professional work, the student should actively participate in promoting reading among children and youth. |
