Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the module, students will acquire knowledge in the field of chemistry, physics, materials science and conservation of library materials. In addition, they will acquire skills in using physical and chemical methods of conservation and protection of library collections. The module is primarily aimed at enabling the student to practically apply theory in practice and to adapt methods and tools from the field of natural sciences to library activities. This is achieved by using methods that activate students and acquire manual skills while working with library materials.
