Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module will present basic knowledge on how to read, use and create maps. A particular attention will be given to the importance of maps in the environmental humanities, deep mapping, annotating maps with a variety of information, and software supporting the use of maps. Students will also be introduced to cultural texts that link environmental reflection to making and interpretating maps.
