Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to introduce students to the practical dimension of humanistic being in the field: all kinds of study trips, walks, hikes and workshops in open spaces. Particular preference will be given to urban spaces, fourth nature, urban plant refugia, refugia, as well as forests, riparian areas, wetlands, swamps, landscape parks, protected areas. The multidimensional, hands-on exploration of these spaces will result in a multi-sensory experience of the site, providing own and directly acquired knowledge of place, shaped on the basis of the knowledge of humanistic fieldwork methods, particularly in industrial and post-industrial areas (usually associated with mining and metallurgy).This knowledge will help in the construction and creation of all kinds of narratives about nature (nature writing) and the social environment, as well as intensify and deepen direct involvement in changing this environment and foster an attitude of responsibility for it. |
