Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to familiarize students with the specificity of play as a very important form of human activity throughout life. As part of the course, students learn about the origins of play pedagogy, the possibilities of using play therapeutically to support human development and functioning at individual stages of life, as well as the activities of the Polish Association of Play Educators "Klanza". Play as a phenomenon will be considered in the context of educational processes from a lifelong perspective, which respects the regularities of development at its various stages.

In terms of skills, the graduate is able to use various types and forms of play to support the development and learning process of the child/ward, as well as his/her parents and teachers. He is also able to design a support process using various types and forms of play in working with people at particular stages of their development (childhood, adulthood, old age), with the aim of supporting their development and functioning. In terms of knowledge, the graduate knows and understands the importance of play to support the development and social functioning of children, adolescents and adults.
