Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim is obtaining by the students basic knowledge in the field of cultural anthropology, competence of using it in the description of social phenomena and developing competences in performing the social functions in the conditions of cultural difference. The content of the education includes: locating the subdiscipline in the structure of the humanities and social sciences, the historical context of the emergence of the subdiscipline, knowledge of the main theoretical trends existing within cultural anthropology, knowledge of the main representatives of the subdiscipline, knowledge of terms allowing for the description of phenomena that are the subject of cultural anthropology research.
