Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to teach students about armed interventions for humanitarian reasons and the dilemmas associated with them as a mechanism for enforcing human rights. Within the module, the student will learn about the theoretical aspects of armed interventions for humanitarian reasons, their evolution over the years, instrumentalities, and doubts about interpreting the current norms of international law. Emphasizing the practical dimension of the laboratory, selected elements of the issue are discussed based on examples of implementing the mechanism of armed interventions for humanitarian reasons. The student learns about the mechanism of armed intervention for humanitarian reasons by analyzing the literature on the subject and participating in various forms of activation during the class.
