Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject aims to expand the student's competences in the efficient use of English in tourism (both in practical and scientific aspects). The student learns and consolidates already acquired language competences related to tourist services. The student learns new specialized vocabulary and learns to describe in English issues related to or related to tourism. Students prepare for classes by learning the literature on the subject (analysis of scientific sources) to which the lecture is devoted and discuss specialist topics in the field of tourism in English. After completing the course, the student has competences, knowledge and qualifications to freely express and discuss (in English) on current issues related to tourism. After completing the module, the student will be able to use scientific literature in a foreign language and will also have the ability to prepare oral presentations in a foreign language at the B2+ level.
