Purpose and description of the content of education: | Moduł Modelowanie procesów zachodzących w materiałach inżynierskich ma pokazać studentom relacje pomiędzy wiedzą o właściwościach materii na poziomie atomowym a cechami makro materiałów inżynierskich. Obejmuje on omówienie klasycznych metod modelowania molekularnego (DM) czy metod statystycznych Monte Carlo (MC) i wskazuje na ich praktyczne ograniczenia. Pokazuje coraz większe znaczenie technik hybrydowych łączących modelowanie na poziomie mikro z modelowaniem innych części materiału na poziomie makro i problemy dopasowania rozwiązań na styku obszarów atomowych i ciągłych. |
