Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł Polski system medialny umożliwi studentowi poznanie metodologii w zakresie systemowej analizy przestrzeni medialnej i komunikacyjnej w Polsce, w poszczególnych fazach ich przekształceń. Dzięki temu student powinien uzyskać lepsze zrozumienie procesów transformacji systemu medialnego w Polsce na poziomie lokalnym, regionalnym i ogólnopolskim. Złożoność procesów zachodzących w systemach medialnych, mających wielorakie pochodzenie i uwarunkowania, wymaga pokazania w szerszym kontekście przekształceń ustrojowych i doktryny medialnej oraz ich wpływu na funkcjonowanie poszczególnych struktur mediów periodycznych w Polsce. Ważnym jest przedstawienie ekonomicznych uwarunkowań funkcjonowania systemu medialnego w Polsce, w tym istoty rynkowości i komercjalizacji mediów. Zrozumienie tych procesów pozwoli studentom poznać specyfikę poszczególnych struktur polskiego systemu medialnego, a także nauczy ich czytać przestrzeń medialną i komunikacyjną. Jest to wiedza i umiejętności niezbędne w zawodach medialnych i okołomedialnych.
