Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Multifunctional Materials with Advanced Properties module is to enable students to familiarize themselves with the specific properties of multifunctional materials, the knowledge of which will enable the development and effective implementation of new material technologies, especially in the economy sectors with the largest social impact. The module aims to develop the ability to choose the right materials with advanced physicochemical and functional properties for specific applications. The module familiarizes students with multifunctional biomimetic, biodegradable and self-healing materials for medical purposes and multifunctional materials for the needs of renewable energy and transformation, storage and rationalization of energy management. The module provides students with knowledge of multifunctional eco-materials for environmental protection and multifunctional materials for safety-related applications.
